A place for African Americans to network, connect, learn and belong.

The 40 Voices African American Holistic Wellness and Resource Hub is a safe place to heal for black people to heal physically, emotionally, financially and most important spiritually. Built by African Americans for African Americans the Hub a place where individualized culturally responsive, community defined services and resources will be offered to improve outcomes and promote healing.

Events

After opening it’s doors on August the 8th 2025, the Hub has been an active part of the community with hosting many events large and small – Founder Gigi Crowder’s Birthday party to NAACP meetings to personal business meetings.

Donations

Money is the oil that moves the world. Regardless of the good we want to do we need money to keep things moving. So, we accept donations from groups, corporations, and individuals.

A picture is worth a thousand words, which is why the 40 Voices African American Holistic Wellness & Resource Hub is working it’s Instagram account!

Facebook

The Hub will be keeping up with its community in many ways; one important way is with our Facebook account. There we will announce individuals and groups that will be having meetings at the Hub, groups functions that will take place, and practitioners that will provide services on particular days and times.

About Us

GIGI R. CROWDER, L.E.

Elder Gigi R. Crowder has over 40 years working in the mental health field. She is recognized as a subject matter expert, addressing the behavioral health needs of BIPOC community members, utilizing community-defined strategies such as those found in faith and spiritual communities. Unapologetically committed to improving health outcomes for Black children and their families impacted by mental illness. Relying on her lived experience as a Family member and Advocate, she has developed multi-generational approaches proven to be successful in improving behavioral health outcomes by supporting individuals impacted by mental illness to connect to their divine purpose.

DR. LAMONT A. FRANCIES

With over 20 years of experience in education, Dr. Lamont A. Francies is a dedicated advocate for equity and inclusion in schools. He holds a doctorate in International and Multicultural Education and has spent more than a decade specializing in creating opportunities and addressing challenges for African American students and their families. Dr. Francies is passionate about helping school districts and educators develop meaningful equity frameworks, establish African American Family Resource Centers, and implement culturally responsive practices. His expertise bridges the gap between schools and communities, fostering environments where all students can thrive.
